put your pressure foot down before you begin to sew.

wear proper shoes when sewing.
-Hold
your scissors properly.
-Never
run with scissors.
-Make
sure there isn’t anything under your fabric before you begin cutting.
-Always
turn your sewing machine OFF when you are done.
-Always
have an adult help you with ironing and turn your iron OFF when you are done.
-When
you are done sewing for the day put your needle down in the machine by using the
hand wheel,
put your pressure foot down, turn your machine off and cover your machine.
-Take your time on
making your projects. Do not get in the horrible habit of rushing.
