Private & Semi-Private lessons on
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. Bring a friend and learn to
sew or come work on your collection for our up and coming fashion

Learn to Sew Camp
|
Learn to Sew @
Love to Sew Sewing Studio
in Chadds Ford, PA |
| Camp Highlight:
During this week of camp you will learn enough
basics about sewing to make a draw string bag which will be your
"sewing locker" to carry all your goodies and supplies
in. You will make other fun projects too. After you have completed
this camp you may move onto other sewing and fashion design camps. |
| Fabric & Supplies:
Will be provided by our studio however students are
welcome to bring their own fabrics if they wish. |
| Camp Duration:
One week either full day or 1/2 day (Only 1/2 day
is required to move onto other camps.) |
| Skills You Will
Learn: Students will learn parts of the machine,
how to thread the machine, how to make a bobbin, straight stitch,
reverse, zigzag, how to put in a zipper, and more. |
| Projects:
During this week of camp students will make: a drawstring bag, hot
pad or fabric art, zippered lined bag, and p.j. shorts or a skirt. |

Fashion Design Camp
|
Upon completion
of this camp, you will receive
a beautiful large rosette fashion design ribbon, a certificate,
a Fashion Design T-shirt, and your outfit
will be featured on our website. |
| Camp Highlight:
If you love to sew and want to make your own
clothes then this camp is for you. Start with simple projects and
work your way up to more intense outfits. You will be
working at your own pace and learning new skills. |
| Fabric & Supplies:
Will be provided by our studio however students are
welcome to bring their own fabrics if they wish. |
| Camp Duration:
One week of full day camp. |
| Skills You Will
Learn: Sewing basics, working with patterns,
reading patterns, finishing techniques, seam finishes, and more. |
| Projects:
During this week of camp you will make at least one complete
outfit with a matching accessory. |

Junior Fashion Series (bootcamp)
|
ROCK THE RUNWAY with YOUR collection! |
| Camp Highlight:
Are ready to ROCK THE RUNWAY! This camp is for
those who serious about sewing and fashion and who are interested
in making a collection for the runway. Our studio attends several
fashion shows a year, and if you love to sew and make your own
clothes, then we would love for you to join our Junior Fashion
Series! You will be working at your own pace and learning new
skills while adding to your collection for the runway. |
| Fabric & Supplies:
Will be provided by our studio however students are
welcome to bring their own fabrics if they wish. |
| Camp Duration:
One week of full day camp. (You may do this camp
several weeks during the summer to work on your line.) |
| Skills You Will
Learn: Sewing basics, working with patterns,
reading patterns, finishing techniques, seam finishes, and more. |
| Projects:
During this week of camp you will make as many outfits as possible
adding and updating your collection for the runway. You will also
be making a matching garment bag and duffle bag to hold your
collection in. |

| Camp Highlight:
Come and spend your week making as many crafts as
time allows. |

One week 1/2 day or full day |
| Skills You Will
Learn: Sewing curves, pivoting, hand sewing
techniques, stuffing, tricks, secrets, and short cuts in making
crafts. |
| Projects:
It's up to you! Come make stuffed animals, dolls, pillows,
decorations for your room, and more! |

Quilting Camp
|
Quilting is an American
Tradition! |
| Camp Highlight:
During this week of camp you will learn the steps
in making a quilt, and bring home a completed quilt. We have
plenty of patterns to choose from and you may make a raggedy
quilt, appliqué quilt, pieced quilt, or memory quilt. |
| Fabric & Supplies:
Will be provided by our studio however students are
welcome to bring their own fabrics if they wish. |
| Camp Duration:
One week of full day camp. |
| Skills You Will Learn:
Straight stitch, reverse stitch, measuring with
fractions, how to press seams on a quilt, matching seams, speed
sewing, sewing along the pressure foot, and more. |
| Camp Projects:
You will complete a quilt during the week. If
finished early students may make anything they wish. |

Japanese Kimono Camp
|
Come and stitch up a beautiful
Japanese Kimono. |
| |
| Camp Highlight:
Come and spend your week making
a beautiful Japanese Kimono. If time
allows, at the end of the week we will be making a matching bag. |
| Fabric & Supplies: We
will be providing beautiful silk brocades, yukata cotton, and
metallic weave, in many designs and colors for this project!
However students are welcome to bring their own fabrics if they wish. |
| Camp Duration:
One week of full day camp. |
| Skills You Will
Learn: We will be talking about the history of the
Japanese Kimono and some fun and interesting facts during the
week. It takes many yards of fabric to make a kimono, so your
biggest task is learning how to handle sewing with so much fabric!
You will be learning different sewing techniques like seam
binding, how to put on a kimono sleeve, and working with facings. |
| Projects:
A beautiful Kimono! (And a matching
bag if time allows.) |

Project Challenge Camp

Come and challenge yourself! |
| Camp Highlight:
During this week of camp you will be challenged
each day with a new project. It could be clothes, accessories,
crafts...anything... We could have one challenge a day, or 2 or
even 3... you never know until the morning of the challenge. |
| Fabric & Supplies:
Will be provided by our studio for every challenge,
students do not need to bring anything. |
| Camp Duration:
One week of full day camp. |
| Skills You Will Learn:
This camp not only allows you to learn new sewing
skills, but other important things in life like: time management,
working well with others, self motivation, and more. |
| Camp Projects:
You will find out each morning... Can't tell you
now, since it is a Challenge Camp! Remember this is all in fun.
Every year this is a camp favorite. |
| Prerequisite:
2 years of sewing or comfortable enough to make a
project on demand. |
