Debbie from Dallas, TX
made this memory quilt as a birthday gift for her sister. She used
their mom's old blouses and housecoats and added some vintage embroidered
items and some chenille as well as some new fabrics she let her sister
chose. What a WONDERFUL idea and
gift...., to be treasured forever!

she made for the winner of a Karaoke contest. What a

of Texas shows us this blue raggedy quilt. She is making one for each of

love rag quilting-they are just more cuddly than other quilts I have
made." How true... try making one for
yourself, they are fun and easy to make. |

Rag quilts are awesome to make. There is no right or wrong side of a
raggedy quilt. Since this is a "Rag Quilt" the best fabric to use would be
fabrics that "rag" nicely. Fabrics like cotton, denim,
homespun, and flannel work well. You can make a quick and easy rag
quilt too. Just buy your favorite fabric prints and colors.
