This was made for a king
size bed for a friend who is re-doing their room in red,
black, and white colors with a black finish on the furniture. |

Katherine made this Rag Quilt
of beautiful fall colors, then she appliquéd autumn leaves on every other
square. She took 2nd place at a community fair in the quilt
division. |

Take a close look at the
hearts and the trees, they are ragged. The rest of the quilt is
pieced patch work, but the hearts and trees were sewn on in two layers and
then ragged. |

| The easiest type of rag quilt
for beginner quilters is pictured below. A simple "X" sewn on each
square and then the squares sewn together to form a quilt.

This is Catherine's 4th quilt
she has made. This quilt has not yet been washed and dried, and look how
much it already rags!!!

A man we met at a Quilt Show
made this beautiful Christmas Tree Rag Quilt. When Amber saw it, we
had to take her picture next to it since she made the mini version. |
