Project RUNWAY 2008 @ Love To Sew Sewing Studio GARDEN
PARTY CHALLENGE

(This is our VOGUE pose for our GARDEN
PARTY Challenge) |
| |
|
We had 4 big challenges
this year, but this was my favorite. Designers were asked to
make a Garden Party Dress from White Muslin Fabric, with Embellishments
from any part of the Yard or Garden for our GARDEN PARTY CHALLENGE! |
|
Many Awards were given out
for this challenge including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, Best Design concept, and
Best use of Flowers for embellishments. |

Finding the perfect flowers for embellishing
the dress! |

More flowers! |
|

Draping was the only way to make a dress for
this challenge, no patterns were allowed. |

Rachel was one of our
winners for "Best Use of Flowers". You can see why in this photo
how clever her design was! |

The girls hard at work!
|

Jacqueline's beautiful gown with a
train that she made by draping. She added just a touch of flowers here
and there because she wanted the main focus to be on the gown.
Great job! |
|

Alexandra added a Garden
Party hat to her dress! |

Heather went for the
"Swedish" look and added braids to her hair with ribbon. What an
adorable dress. See Heather's other
outfits she had designed.
