Fashion Design Awards/Recognitions: 2006 "Sassy Denim" Fashion Design contest 2nd Place

Catie made this adorable skirt from an old pair of jeans that were too tight in the legs.  She chose neutrals and blues and go with the denim, and added layers for a more fuller look.

 

Catie designed and made this adorable tote bag with no pattern.  She added large buttons on the side and braided the handle.  She used flat-felled seams on the sides of her bag. 

 

 

Catie's adorable summer tank top.  She added white ribbon which ties in the back. This top can also be worn with out the white long sleeve tee underneath.

Here's Catie showing her  awesome lined vest made with princess seams, button holes, and buttons.  She made this quick and easy cute summer dress too.
 

 

Here Catie designed and draped her first dress.  Draping means you do not use a pattern at all.  You would make the dress using a dress form, or someone's body. Great job Catie!!!
