Heather made an adorable pair of cotton silk pajamas.  She used French seams since the fabric frayed so easily. You and your baby doll pj's look adorable.

Sponge bob square pants pajama pants!

Ryan made these comfy flannel pajama pants.  This was the first article of clothing she made. P.J. Pants like these are a great start for beginner sewers. Find a "simple", "jiffy", "make in one hour", or "easy" pattern to use.

Important Note:

It is imperative that only flame-resistant fabric be used when sewing children's pajamas.  You can find this on the end of the roll of fabric at the fabric store.  DO NOT use material unless it is fire resistant.

Brushed and other nylon fabric is a better choice for a nightgown because nylon will melt and burn but it won't flare up.  In general, pajamas are safer than nightgowns because they are close to the body.

Brianna make a pair of pajama pants for her sister's birthday present. This pattern was for beginner to intermediate students.  It required button holes, elastic casing, working with interfacing, and working with knit fabric and stretching while you sew.

These pajama shorts were made from soft flannel and a knit facing (yoke) just like the ones shown above.

These adorable "Baby Doll" pajamas were made from soft light weight flannel, and trimmed in a pretty blue bow. This is an "easy to sew" pattern.
