COSTUME Sewing Contest
Make a costume and mail 3
good, clear, photos of it, the entry form, a (self-addressed envelope)
SASE, and the $8.00 entry fee to the Crafts of Chadds Ford, 23 Pennsbury

(Just pictures are fine)
Entries must be received
by November 10th 2006.
Age divisions:
Child: (2 divisions 6-12 years and 13-17 years)
Adult: 18 and older (2 divisions Novice and Amateur) Novice:-someone
who has been sewing less than 3 years
Amateur: – someone who has been sewing 3 years or more for
recreational purposes.
Categories:
Historical
- a costume representing any era from 1970 and past.
Fantasy-
a costume representing any type of fantasy (elf, fairy etc...)
Hollywood
- a costume representing a movie or an actor. (Peter Pan outfit, or
a Harry Potter outfit, etc...)
Open
- a costume that does not fit in any
of the 3 categories above.
Pet - make a costume for your
pet
Awards:
Awards:
- First through 3rd place
rosette ribbons in EACH division (2 child & 2 adult) and in EACH
Category.
Additional Awards:
- Overall Outstanding Award - One child/ One Adult
Participation Awards: - to all who
enter

Winners'
will be notified by mail when they will receive their award. Winners costume
photos will be posted on the website!!! Your photos will NOT be returned
to you.
Rules:
-Make a costume from any pattern, or
design it on your own.
-Send 3 clear and good pictures of the
costume. One of the front view, one of the side view, and one of the back
view.
-Entries will only be accepted by
mail.
- You are
allowed to enter up to 3 costumes, but each costume must have it's own
photos, entry form, and entry fee.
-All entries must be family oriented
and in good taste to be displayed on the website. Any entries not
meeting these criteria will be disqualified.
-This Costume contest is
open to kids ages 6-17 and Adults 18 and up who live anywhere in the world
and love to sew.
-The
costume must have been made by the person entering it.
-Crafts
of Chadds Ford will not be responsible for lost, late, misdirected,
non-deliverable, postage due mail, or collect shipments. For more

-The awards
involved in this contest are supplied by Crafts of Chadds Ford & The
Oxygen Network.
