Learn to Sew
and Fashion Design this summer!
Do you love to look at fashion magazines?
Do you love to sketch outfits that you would like to make and
wear?
Now you can
learn to design and make your own clothes.
Never sewed
before? We'll teach you step by step from the first stitch.
Make the summer of 2010 your year to sew!
Whether beginner or advance students will sew and design at their own
pace. Students can design and sew one complete
outfit or many to prepare them for our up and coming fashion shows. Beginners can make garments like: shorts &
top, a sun dress, skirt & purse, hat & capris, etc…Intermediate
students will make garments in a higher degree of difficulty. Student designers interested in expanding in fashion
design and dress making may begin to work on their fashion design
portfolio. (we supply everything!)
We have two big fashion shows coming up
in October 2010 to get ready for!
Just like at camp, students who design
and complete an outfit with an accessory will receive: a Young
Fashion Designers Workshop Certificate, Young Fashion Designers
T-shirt, and a large beautiful rosette ribbon.
All Private & Semi-Private Lessons
are given in 2 or more consecutive hour slots. (We have found that one
hour is just not enough time to complete work.)
Private Lesson Fee: $25.00 an hour
Semi-Private Lesson
Fee: $20.00 an hour per person
