Costumes that were Designed & Sewn

Costume Design Photo Page 1

These costumes were designed and made by Jacqueline and Kate. They worked very hard and their effort shows.

Jessica made the following for her "Harry Potter, Hermione" costume: the pleated skirt, the hat, the robe with a hidden wand compartment, the tags on her robe, and the large Harry Potter books.  She even sewed a "Hogwarts" logo on the back of the robe. On opening day of the new book many people were asking to have their picture taken with Jess.

Sara, a true Harry Potter fan, just like Jessica, wanted to make her own robe. Her robe or cape was made from  beautiful black velvet fabric, and her hood was lined with deep purple velvet fabric. She added a large Hogwarts emblem patch on her robe to make it official.

Amber designed and made this gown.  She had to alter an existing pattern. Very beautiful.

This costume was designed by me.  I sent my drawings with my colors to a very talented lady in Canada and she altered them and made this beautiful Rhythmic Gymnastics costume for Jessica.

Jessica designed this skirt on paper first, (after watching "Gone with the Wind"), and then made it.  It was a big challenge. She wore it at an 1700's quilt fair.  What a great job!!!

Erika made a demontor costume from Harry Potter.  She made it from black crushed velvet fabric and slit the fabric at the hem and arms to create the "demon" look.  Great job Erika.
